Pallet Flow Rack

Pallet Flow Rack

Pallet Flow Racks act like a conveyor within a rack structure.  Pallets are deposited at the charge end and then flow down an incline to be picked at the opposite end. Pallet Flow Systems can be 6 or more bays high and can run from a few to 15 positions deep.  Using gravity to gently keep pallet loads staged for picking operations, pallet flow racks are an economical first-in first-out storage rack solution.

High-density Pallet Flow Racks provides excellent payback.  Additionally, the pallet flow rack systems help to keep employees at a safe distance from the forklifts that are replenishing the racks at the input end.  This dynamic storage rack system gives quick, efficient and safe access to material going out while providing simple reserve stock storage.

Pallet Flow Racks are ideal for supplying pallet or carton loads of common SKUs in sorting and distribution operations.  They also are a great option where high throughput is required or in a warehouse storage situation that calls for large volumes of each SKU.

Pallet Flow Storage offers durable construction for years of maintenance-free operation; it also maximizes floor space creating fewer aisles – it can triple or double your storage capacity compared to drive-in or other conventional pallet rack systems. This system is ideal for expiration date sensitive inventory, high-volume consumer goods, freezer warehouses and food distribution centers.

Carton Flow racks are less costly than automated systems, and more efficient than static shelving. Carton Flow solutions offer dense storage and conserve space. Combined with conveyors, flow racks provide easy access to picking faces that can be accessed quickly while reducing operator time.

Pick Modules are the next best option compared to automated systems, while automated systems tend to be more costly a static picking or gravity flow system may be just the solution for your distribution flow. Pick Modules work well when: an average order consists of a few multiple items; average supply holding time is minimal; item weight is a consideration.
